The rules, in plain words
- One draw a week. Every Sunday night at 21:00 UTC. Ticket sales close one hour before.
- The number is sealed. It comes from a public random beacon (drand) that does not exist yet when sales close. Nobody, not even us, can know or pick it.
- Matching tickets share the jackpot. Every ticket carrying the drawn number gets an equal share.
- No match, it rolls over. The jackpot stays in the contract and joins next week's.
- Where the money goes. 80% of ticket sales go to the jackpot, 20% to the reward pool that pays every crew.
- Your money is never promised, it is held. The jackpot is only ever paid from tickets already sold. The contract is always able to pay.
- Safety net. If a draw is not run within a day, every ticket is refunded in full.
- You collect your own win. A share left unclaimed for a month rolls into the next jackpot.
- Check your local rules. Lotteries are regulated in many places. Only play where it is allowed for you.
